Biography

Sunday B. Morning is a Belgian publishing imprint known for producing silkscreen prints after Andy Warhol's iconic works — Marilyn, Flowers, Campbell's Soup Cans and others — using original negatives from Warhol's Factory.

Warhol initially collaborated with two anonymous Belgian associates in the 1970s to create these editions as a commentary on commodification and replication. The partnership ended unclearly and Sunday B. Morning went on to produce the prints independently, despite Warhol revoking authorisation. Early 1970 prints featured a black stamp "Fill In Your Own Signature"; Warhol sometimes signed some of these "This is not by me. Andy Warhol", heightening their intrigue. They are now part of Warhol's print raisonné.

Current Sunday B. Morning prints are made in the same Belgian studio from the original stencils, on museum board with archival inks, and stamped in blue ink on the verso with "Published by Sunday B. Morning" and "Fill in your own signature." Nearly identical to the Factory editions, they remain highly sought after by collectors.
