Born in 1948 in Fiorenzuola d'Arda. Currently, he lives and works in the Gasperini, in the Piacenza hills. Despite not attending academies or following other art studies, Asveri discovered a passion for painting in 1969, after a difficult childhood and adolescence. Art has become his reason for living.
