Noli Mi Tangere, meaning "don't touch me"/"touch me not, is the Latin version of words spoken, according to John 20:17, by Jesus to Mary Magdalene when she recognized him after the resurrection.I met Amy in 2004, I think, around the time of her first album titled 'Frank'. i shot the session, then as you do, put the negatives away in storage. Fast forward to moving to Los Angeles I rediscovered the negatives, as I was scanning my archive, I was struck by how innocent she was. (Everything is hindsight). Even though she died in 2011, her music is very much alive like a flower that keeps coming back to bloom, reminding us of its beauty.i created a series of 7 portraits mixed, overlayed with Flora, dream-like, inspired by the pre-Raphaelite painter, Thomas Cooper Gotch's 'Death the Bride' painting.
