The 'LED' artwork seamlessly brings together vintage arcade culture and contemporary street art. Set against a deep black background, a luminous pink Space Invader character takes centre stage, surrounded by a moon-like mountainous landscape scattered with stars. Invader's 'Moon' was displayed on an LED screen in June 2019 as part of Brooklyn's BEYOND the STREETS exhibition, a major exhibition celebrating influential figures and living legends of the street art movement. With its shimmering stars, vivid bursts of colour and instantly recognisable pink Space Invader, the work created a captivating visual presence, with the iconic character commanding attention at the heart of the composition.

Invader is a pseudonymous French street artist. He is known for his ceramic tile mosaics modeled on the pixelated art of 1970s–1980s 8-bit video games, many of which depict the titular aliens from the arcade games Space Invaders, Pac-Man and Super Mario Bros.
