“Six lines and two dots was the quickest way to draw a human figure without getting caught”

Self taught with no formal training, Stik began drawing matchstick figures as a young child and has never strayed, simple works. The Artist worked as a ife model for several years,  allowing him so he says to get to grips with composition and the human anatomy. 

The Artist keeps much of his personal life out of the public domain, he began painting in public and in the street in his early twentiesclaiming ‘that it became an education in itself. I learned from my contemporaries.’
