Dan Pearce is a London-based mixed media artist and digital designer. He studied art at his local college on Merseyside which led to a (BA)Hons in Jewellery Design. Post Uni he returned to his original birthplace of Australia and set up home in Sydney, Australia for the next seven years.
In Australia, Dan honed his skills for digital design and fell in love with stencil art. Influenced by some of the stencil masters ELK and C215 he immersed himself into the world of hand cut stencils and spray paint.
Dan is married with two sons. He has built a studio/office at the bottom of his garden which allows him to juggle his busy life of an artist, his digital design business and a hands-on Dad. Dan has been exhibiting his artwork since 2011 throughout the UK as well as internationally.

Dan’s colourful creations are a pleasure to both look at as well as touch, combining finely grained sprayed backgrounds with drops of lustrous resin onto a variety of materials and surfaces. His abstract-decorative paintings are polished to perfection, showing Dan’s impeccable control of his working media.
“I use a process of amalgamating ingredients like polished metals, rich resins, grinding gradients, intricate stencils and a large portion of urban mix to create a vivid, engaging world of iconic portraits.”
Taking inspiration from street and pop art and juxtapositioning it with fine art, his work is bold and confident in style often completely transforming iconic portraits with his own inimitable style and blurring the lines between new media, pop and digital art.
The synthetic look of Dan’s work is quite deliberate, giving his paintings an almost industrial, non-handmade aesthetic. The imagery he uses sits tight within its frame, proposing a sharply-tailored artistic style.
Dan has been busy this year working on new mixed media limited edition prints, that he has created with a unique technique of printing and painting direct onto brushed aluminium, leaving areas that show through to the polished material behind giving an unusual feel and an additional dimension to his bold, iconic style. Dan uses wonderfully deep, bright colours to capture the passion and serenity in his paintings.
